Dealerware is modern fleet management for the modern retailer connecting cars to lower costs. Dealerware automates the most time-consuming tasks related to loaner expense management while enhancing the customer experience with a completely digital, paperless process. Today, Dealerware is managing tens-of-thousands of vehicles for hundreds of dealerships; working with 10 of the top 10 dealer groups and more than 25 OEM brands.
Audi on demand is a premium app-based car rental service offered at participating Audi dealerships nationwide. Designed to meet the evolving needs of drivers, it is the easiest way to access an Audi. Audi on demand provides flexible short term rental and Long Term Drive options on a fleet of new Audi vehicles.

Silvercar by Audi relaunches as Audi on demand. The transition represents the next step in Audi’s evolution towards dealer-based mobility. Audi on demand offers new flexible terms, an enhanced model lineup (to include the fully electric Audi e-tron®) and expanded access across the USA.

Matt Carpenter
Chief Executive Officer
Matt Carpenter is Chief Executive Officer at Silvercar, Inc., focused on the development and delivery of premium solutions that meet the evolving mobility needs of the future consumer. Matt joined Silvercar from Audi, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for Audi of America and Audi Canada. Prior to being named CFO, Matt held several positions within the sales organization at both Audi of America, and Audi Financial Services / VW Credit, Inc.
In his 12 years at Audi / Volkswagen Group, Matt played a central role in boosting U.S. sales volume and improving the financial contribution of the business for the company and its dealers. He also played a role throughout the years of partnership between Audi and Silvercar, starting with the original fleet sourcing partnership of the Silvercar rental business and resulting in Audi’s acquisition of Silvercar in 2017.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Jefferson Macks
Chief Financial Officer
Jefferson Macks is Chief Financial Officer for Silvercar, Inc. where he leads all efforts relating to accounting, financial controlling, tax, treasury, and insurance. Jefferson brings more than 24 years of extensive international financial and operational experience to Silvercar.
Prior to joining Silvercar, Inc. Jefferson worked for Audi of America as Senior Manager, Audi Brand Controlling and most recently he served Audi as Director, Financial Planning and Forecasting where he was responsible for all controlling processes related to vehicle pricing & margin, structural costs, Aftersales business and liquidity planning and management oversight. He forecasted and managed over $1 billion of net liquidity for Audi of America and Audi Canada and analyzed and controlled the structural cost budget of $104 million for AoA.
Jefferson has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI and Masters of Business Administration from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Jon Zeitler
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Jon Zeitler is Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Silvercar Inc. In this role, Jon is responsible for all legal guidance, counsel, and compliance management. He has also served as General Manager for Audi Select, Audi of America’s pilot vehicle subscription service.
Jon has over 20 years of experience working with high growth companies and disruptive products and technologies and has led corporate and business development, operating, and legal functions. Prior to joining Silvercar by Audi, Jon served as EVP and General Counsel at Cricket Media, Inc., a leading education media company providing award winning content and a safe and secure international learning network for teachers and families. Jon managed Cricket Media’s B2B businesses, including content and platform licensing and institutional subscription sales, as well as its corporate development and legal functions.
Jon holds a BA in Public Policy and Economics from Duke University and a JD from Duke Law School.
